Meet the Team

Not only is Dawn our smiling face at the front desk, she handles a long list of tasks involving office administration. She is excellent at understanding dental insurance and billing—a tough job! Dawn is who you speak with when you have any questions regarding the financial aspect of your treatment at SoundBridge and most of the time, it is her voice that answers the phone. Dawn handles the coordination and timing of all treatment scheduled at SoundBridge. In addition to being great with numbers and estimates, Dawn handles the scheduling, accounting, inter-office communications, referrals and recall. Dawn’s “secondary” responsibility is acting as “the dog sitter” for our mascot and greeter—Daphne.

Dawn has been a loyal employee since May 2006!

Echo became a part of our Team in February 2006. She has many duties behind the scenes—all essential to maintain a smooth sailing practice. Echo is in charge of ordering all dental supplies. She is the assistant in charge of equipment maintenance and handles the sterilization protocol; including weekly spore testing, emergency kit standards, water line evacuation, mercury amalgam separator monitoring and repairs.

Most of you will see Echo working chair side and being a liaison with your dental care. Whitening? Yes, Echo is the “go-to” for ZOOM! And any whitening questions you may have.

A true believer in Oral Hygiene, Gay Lynn has the responsibility of periodontal maintenance and education. You will see her every 3, 4 or 6 months. She is honest about the condition of your “gums” and always has suggestions and tips to improve your health. The Sonicare is something Gay Lynn strongly believes in. She sees the fantastic results it produces on a daily basis. Her job is relentless in its commitment to overall oral health and how it relates to your systemic health. Be prepared to hear her honest opinion and if you take it to heart, she will steer you in the right direction!

Ask Gay Lynn about our soft tissue LASER and how amazing this NEW therapy is at reducing pocketing and inflammation. Gay Lynn started working with the periodontal and maintenance program full time in the office in February 2010.

Heidi’s enthusiasm is contagious. Even though she is currently part time in our office, she has a list of growing fans. Patients like her experience and with that, she is never short of suggestions to help improve your oral health. Heidi has a critical eye and applies her knowledge of many oral hygiene aids that aim for optimum dental health. If you have questions regarding desensitizing gels, fluoride toothpastes, varnishes, proxy brushes or any other oral hygiene aid, she is the expert. Also trained in LASER periodontal therapy, she is happy to discuss her expectations tailored to your individual periodontal needs.

We rely on Tonya for her computer expertise and organization. She handles numerous projects that are behind the scenes. Tonya is Facebook, blog and email savvy- Those patients who like to be kept up to date on SoundBridge will find photos and new information posted regularly. She is proficient with the digital camera and relentless with the organization of all the office photography. The details required with Dental Implants, such as ordering supplies, scheduling sequence and patient follow-up are Tonya’s responsibility. Tonya began working at SoundBridge in March 2008.

Chiarina joined our dental team in September, 2011, but  is not new to dentistry. She graduated with her dental degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1992 and is back in the profession of dentistry after spending the past 10 years as a stay at home mom.  Chiarina is diligent with front desk administration and keeping our recare and hygiene schedule up to date. Look for her to add her dental expertise with patient education, treatment plan consultations, website blogs, and open house lectures. Chiarina loves research, so email in your dental  questions or blog topics!  She’d love to hear from you!

Our loveable greeter Daphne weighs in at a whopping 8 lbs and joined our social team in January 2010. She has been known to reduce stress and anxiety with many “dog-loving” patients. Kids are her favorite friends. She rests most of the day behind the front desk and has a very “stressful” life here at SoundBridge. Treats and walks are always welcome!
