Sedation Dentistry South Sound

We understand that many people have either extreme dental anxiety or simply need extensive work done on their smile. To make everything more convenient for you, we offer oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide to help you feel relaxed and at ease during your appointment. Don't let your fears or worries stop you from achieving a healthy smile.

Sedation dentistry could be right for you if you:

  • Suffer from dental anxiety or fear of the dentist.
  • Have had a traumatic dental experience in the past.
  • Have neurological disorders that make holding still in a dental chair difficult.
  • Are extremely embarrassed about the condition of your teeth.
  • Need extensive dental work done, with little time to do it.
  • Have extremely sensitive teeth.
  • Have trouble getting numb by other methods.

How Does Oral Conscious Sedation Work?

Mild Medication

Before your appointment, you will take a mild medication in pill form. You will need someone to drive you to and from your appointment.

Awake & Aware

Unlike heavier forms of sedation, oral conscious sedation keeps you awake and able to interact with us as needed.

Completely At-Ease

Oral conscious sedation completely takes away anxiety and relaxes you. If you have dental fears, they will be at ease. If you need extensive work, you will be relaxed the whole time.

Kind words from a Gig Harbor area patient:

‘‘Best dentist office I have EVER been in. Started on time, absolutely no pain was felt on any procedure (a first for me because I'm such a baby), the staff were extremely professional and courteous. This office is a model for all other dental practices."

— Kitsap County patient
